Mandatory Requirement: Word 2003 or higher. AAMT Book of Styles, Medical Spellchecker, Stedman Word Books or comparable reference materials are a must!
Mentoring Program
Top graduates are encouraged to take our transcription test. Successful applicants are matched to their own primary and secondary accounts, and daily feedback is given from our seasoned editors. DO NOT APPLY IF you have zero experience as a medical transcriptionist and/or have not graduated from a reputable medical transcription school.
Full-Time and Part-Time Options
* Full-time is a minimum of 6000 lines transcribed per week.
* Part-time is a minimum of 3000 lines transcribed per week.
Experience Requirements
* Excellent grammar and punctuation skills.
* Excellent knowledge of medical terminology in various medical specialties.
* Knowledge of current drugs.
* At least 2 years of experience required; 3 to 5 years of experience in medical records preferred.
* Must be able to perform at an accuracy rate of 99% and meet prescribed turnaround deadlines.
* Ability to work independently with good knowledge of Internet resources.
