I know that Norton might rock, but myself personally, I can't tolerate the way it uses all of my ram and slows my computer down. I use spy bot, but that isn't enough. Is there anyone out there who knows of an antivirus program that will not eat up my bank account or my computer's capacity to function at a normal rate? Thank you for your time...... _________________ Definition |

Hi!
I'm currently using Norton Internet Security & I've never had any probs with getting a virus or any of that nasty stuff.
pawani, how much ram do you have? This computer I'm using is an older desktop that had just 1 GB of ram. So I bought another GB for a total of 2 GB. I only paid a few bucks for the extra ram. Much better than buying a whole new computer.
I hope you all have a fantastic holiday weekend! |

I'm using Spyware Doctor right now...although I don't keep it running all the time, just scan my system about once a week. I like it, and it isn't too expensive. If you want to get something free, AVG or Avira isn't bad, but they both seem to miss that 'vundo' type of adware that is a pain to get rid of.
Oh, and you're already awesome to me, as I am from Georgia, and my daughter's name is Amelia. |

Hey,
I installed free avast but it is a bit intrusive... After more pain than cups of tea, I installed Avira free ediion. It really IS free for home use and it works perfectly. One word to describe it. CLASS.
Thanks. |

| I am using Kaspersky antivirus in my PC and its really good for getting protection from viruses and malwares. I have also used Norton antivirus, it was also good, the only disadvantage was that it slows down the overall performance of my PC. |

| I'm using Avira, its okay but it slows down my computer, it installs updates every now and then. I think Norton is better. |

I now use Avast and it's much better than McAfee by far and also better than AVG in my opinion. _________________ Sophia

| I'm using Malwarebytes as of the moment and I find it very efficient. It doesn't utilize all the space. |
