I've joined a couple social sites, and started groups as a way to promote my business. How do you get people on the sites to join your group? I'm clueless.

Have you sent out bulletins or notices to your friends at these social sites informing them of your new group? I know I get these types of notices on a regular basis.

Agree totally
People are looking for interesting "stuff". Bring them content on a regular basis and they will begin to flock to you.
Nothing wrong with being social-they are social sites-but content is king. |

| Though you have quality and valuable contents, it does not mean that you don't need advertising and promotions. Most the online marketers see the viability of using forums for establishing and sharing good stuffs and quality information about you and your groups. Important thing to note in joining forum sites you must follow their rules. |
