Many of us have our own website links that we get from the company and the only thing that we are doing is bringing traffic to it by advertising in PPC, article marketing, video marketing, etc..

Duncan there are plenty of other ways where you could could have your leads from. Marketing not just includes generating the leads but also includes bringing traffic to the site and is more important for the people here. There are plenty of different ways we use to bring traffic to our sites and some of them mentioned by Tal are among the ones that's brought to effect more often. I would suggest you to have your own leads as they are much more beneficial and effective in the long run and concentrate more on having quality leads than quantity ones.

I have to say I do not recommend purchasing leads, especially if what you are doing needs to be duplicated by your team. For many, it is just too expensive. (Been there, done that). I do agree though with jwalter that quality counts more than quantity.

I do some online advertising, participate in networking groups and visit forums such as this one. Mostly though, I look for people in my own area with similar interests. I already have a rapport with those people and they trust me. Once they see what I have, most will sign on either as a customer or business person. I don't worry about a particular area becoming saturated as everyone knows other people that I don't know, whether in my area or out of the area.
