Job Description:
- Candidate will be converting data from site surveys of Power and Building facilities in Telecommunications Central Office environments to include DC Power Plants, Generators, HVAC systems, Batteries, Rectifiers, UPS systems, AC Panels, Inverters, Converters, Distribution bays, Fire systems. Some of the data to be collected includes but is not limited to the following: part numbers, model numbers, readings, dates, assignments, cable sizes, hardware configurations and design layouts.
- Candidate will be converting data from site surveys of relay rack and cabinet equipment in Telecommunications Central Office environments to include switching, transport, network, power and other miscellaneous equipment. Some of the data to be collected includes but is not limited to the following: part numbers, model numbers, manufacturers, images rack placement and locations.
- Candidate must have strong computer skills with emphasis on MS Outlook, Excel, Word and other basic office applications. Candidate must also have the ability to handle various tools and electronics such as laptops, digital cameras and video cameras.
- Candidate will be reporting to the Pleasanton office with the possibility of occasional travel to sites within the area for training and data verification. Candidate must have a reliable means of transportation to the office.
- Candidate will be expected to gather and import the data with extreme attention to detail, with the utmost quality, at a fast pace and under pressure.
- Candidate should have a good understanding of the Telecommunications Facilities and have experience in entering data into various databases from different formats. Candidate must have experience in working with various software applications and databases.
- This is a temporary position for a term of 4-6 months with the possibility of an extended term and serious considerations for other opportunities within the company depending on performance.
