|

Hi!
I HATE to see the posts about people losing money to work at home scams, so I thought I would post where these scammers can be turned in! If you have spent money and time on a work-at-home program and now believe the program may not be legitimate, contact the company and ask for a refund. Let company representatives know that you plan to notify officials about your experience. If you can't resolve the dispute with the company, file a complaint with these organizations:
* The Federal Trade Commission works for the consumer to prevent fraud and deception. Call 1-877-FTC-HELP (1-877-382-4357) or log on to www.ftc.gov.
* The Attorney General's office in your state or the state where the company is located. The office will be able to tell you whether you're protected by any state law that may regulate work-at-home programs.
* Your local consumer protection offices.
* Your local Better Business Bureau.
* Your local postmaster. The U.S. Postal Service investigates fraudulent mail practices.
* The advertising manager of the publication that ran the ad. The manager may be interested to learn about the problems you've had with the company.
2 other good sites to report scams are:
www.ripoffreport.com
www.scam.com
If people don't put up with these companies and report them, hopefully we can weed some of them out! Remember, don't pay for a work at home "job", but it is ok to pay for start-up costs to start your own home biz with a direct sales company, for example. Always research the company and check with the BBB to see what their reputation is like, and ask questions! BEST of luck to everyone with their home biz or work at home job!

U r welcome.
Thanx for the helpful post. I bet a lot of folks will use the reporting agencies! The make-money at home or online community tends to stumble into more than their fair share of scams. Cons really love to prey upon the desparate!

It's a shame that all the scam companies ruin things for honest people. Because of their tactics, it makes it harder for everyone _________________ Profits ON DEMAND! |

Yeah, scammerz like to prey on desperation. Folks try to buy into a get-rich-quick deal because they are already down and out or fried from a crappy job.
To make money on the net, you have to be quite good at what you do. They don't tell you that when you buy their program. They also don't tell you that it took them a lot of fore-knowledge and footwork to set it up. Furthermore, they make a lot of money selling the supposed secrets program to YOU.
The whole thing is quite sad.

Thanks for the link. I fully agreed with you.
I have noticed that there are more and more internet SCAM for work at home job whereby we will need to pay to join and even before start work.
I think we should NEVER pay anyone to get work at home job. A legitimate job should pay you for what you are worth - in terms of your experience and contribution - instead of expecting you to pay upfront for the career opportunity.
I have compiled some recommended work at home job companies whereby we do not need to pay to join, and these companies seems reliable after some research through various forums and recommendation from others.
You might want to take a look in my signature if you are interested. The aim here is to help and assist all of us to work at home legally so that we will not fall into the prey of those internet SCAMs that required you to pay our hard earned cash out front to them without earning much income.
If you think there are more recommended websites to work at home and is reliable, please email me so that I could add on to it.
Cheers!

I had a few to add to the list. And Im currently in a life and death, epic battle with New Age Marketing Solutions (Arizona. Crooks.)
I am out almost 5K. Refused a refund. Contacted BBB. Atrn.General.
They spun the bbb reply like a pro, and the atrn general has had so many complaints, but could do nothing.
So what was the next best thing?
"Hello, Visa?"
Still waiting to see how this works out. _________________ Free Advertising For The Self Propelled Marketer. RageHits.com |
