I totally agree..
It is people establishing connections with other people around the world primarily met through a new medium (Myspace, Facebook, YouTube etc) called social networking also referred to as Web 2.0. |

Web 2.0 is a very exciting trend that is sweeping the internet. It is not a software but rather a conglomeration of different sites where you, the end user, are in control of the content that is put out on the net, much like a blog.
It is a free and fun way to drive traffic to your "main" website that you may be using to sell affiliate products or whatever. Social networking, Social bookmarking, YouTube Videos, Myspace, Facebook, Blogs, Articles, Squidoo, Digg, Deli.cio.us, etc.... these are all great sites to get involved with to get "seen" out there and put up "lasting" billboards on the internet superhighway for absolutely no cost to you.... _________________ To Your Success,

Social bookmarking is similar to when you bookmark your favourite sites on your computer except these bookmarks (websites) you share with others. It can be shared with specific groups or networks. _________________ Sophia

Web 2.0 is also "server side" technology. In the old days if you wanted to type a letter or have a calendar etc you installed it to your hard drive. Web 2.0 was the beginning of applications being kept on the websites servers.
There is the ability to access your information from any computer you are at that has internet/interweb . |

Its essentially the ability to be social online and sharing information.
