Cherry Coffee Cake

Cake:

1/4 lb. of butter
1 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup of milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cup of flour
2 tsp. baking powder

Topping:

1/3 cup flour
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 Tbsp. butter
24 oz. can cherry pie filling

Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour a 8x11" baking pan. Mix butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add flour and baking powder mixture alternately with the milk. Place half the batter in the baking pan. Pour cherry pie filling on top and add the remaining batter on top of the pie filling. Mix together flour, sugar, cinnamon and butter until its crumbly. Sprinkle on top and bake for 55-60 minutes or until done.

Wow,
Printing this recipe tonight and planning on getting up early tomorrow morning to make and share at work. I "love" cherry anything and this one sounds scrumptious! I'll let you know how everyone likes it.
Thank you!
