First off it is a good idea to update and or add to the material on your blog frequently because search engines like active sites. This helps increase your search engine position rating. Also link multiple inside and outside sites to and from your blogs. Please contribute by adding your knowledge to this thread.

This will help to increase your visitors to your blog.

1. Add pictures with alt tag
2. Add videos (Youtube or Metacafe)
3. Use Bookmarking sites
4. Link with some link partners
5. Provide a sitemap and privacy policy
6. Try to get comments from readers.

SocialMarker.com will get you a lot of traffic but you still need to convert.
All the traffic in the world is nice but won't make you any money if you can not convert.
On the other hand you can have the best copywritten material around and if you dont have the traffic it doesnt do you any good.
A very delecate balance.

Use socialmarker.com after each of your blog/website posts.
And...
find a few people that will socialmarker your posts in exchange for socialmarking theirs

I have read this all and just want to say you that daily posting on your blog is a very simple way of getting traffic. I also think that the new content alerts the search engines and they are more likely to bring up your blog over someone else's that hasn't been refreshed in weeks.

Your site content must be useful for getting repetitive visitors.However sometimes you may arrange some contest to get repetitive visitors.
