I have just started up a little blog with a couple of ads on it, and links to common survey sites...I figure now is the time to do it...my daughter is 5 mo. old, and I'm home all the time....
I'm in no hurry to get rich quick...I want to take some time to really find my niche...wondering if anybody had any sound advice.
I'm also interested in posting links on my blog to other people's websites...if they'll do the same for me. It can be a team effort.
looking forward to becoming a part of this community.

Hi Molly,
It's nice to meet you and welcome to the forum.
Reciprocal linking is fine, but what is better is visiting and commenting on other people's blog in the same niche as you. Of course offering a comment of substance will go a long way as opposed to an unsubstantial one.
Another cool thing to do is follow blogs of interest and you can add a "Followers" widget to your blog. Just go into your "Layout" where you will see "Add a Gadget".
With blogs you want to provide quality information and content without being too self-serving. You have to think of why someone would come back to your blog time and time again.
You're off to a good start.

Yes, thank you for the advice about looking for other bloggers. How much do you all bring in, and how long have you all been working at home for? _________________ ~Molly.

I've been working at home for almost 7 years and I'm happy to say I am contributing to our household income. _________________ Sophia

I've been working from home for about 9 years...not all of those years were successful though.
I'm very happy to have the opportunity to supplement my Hubby's income. I wouldn't trade it for anything now. _________________ Work At Home Jobs Listings ~~ Freelance Writing Jobs and Services |

That's so cool...I take it ya'll didn't like working for the "man" either!
I also have a certificate for graphic design, so I guess I should probably work that into my little business, also.
Another couple of quick questions....how many different sources of income do you all have? and how many hours a day do you all put into your business? _________________ ~Molly.

Can you expand on this...not sure what you mean here. lol
I earn from many different sources...
Here's an old saying and everyone should follow suit:
"Don't put all your eggs into just one basket"
I am on my PC approximately 8 to 10 hours per day. Sometimes some in the evening. But, Im finding that I can spend a little less time working more and more everyday. I'm taking more breaks during the day. And staying offline at night more so I can spend more time with my Hubby. _________________ Work At Home Jobs Listings ~~ Freelance Writing Jobs and Services |

lol... I have never been able to work very long for somebody else...any company. I have always wanted to work from home...my dad worked from home doing something he loved, so he could stay home with his kids. And it created in me a desire to work for myself. Be self-employed. _________________ ~Molly.

He used to breed freshwater angelfish. There were aquariums everywhere! Now he has a saltwater aquarium that's just his hobby. He cant move around like he used to. _________________ ~Molly.

Hi,
I'm also new to this community. It's really hard to do serious linkbuilding especially if you are a starter. Welcome to the community mommy. |
