Strawberry Nut Bread

2 (10 ounce) pkg. frozen sliced strawberries, thawed
4 eggs
1 c. vegetable oil
2 c. granulated sugar
3 c. flour
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. chopped nuts

Beat eggs in a bowl until fluffy. Add oil, sugar and strawberries. Sift together the flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt. Add the strawberry mixture and blend until well mixed. Stir in the chopped nuts. Pour into 2 greased loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until done. Cool in pans for 15 minutes, then turn out onto wire racks to cool.

Hey Shelly,

I'm trying this one out! I just made strawberry muffins today from a recipe I got from the lid of organic yogurt. It was nice and moist, but it lacked.....uh....flavor.

Is it better with the frozen strawberries or can you use fresh?
